In the same year she wrote a commentary on a scripture for the Bible class, and for a column in the February issue of the MANIFESTO. She was transferred to the Office in 1893, and signed the Church F. covenant in May, 1899. She was described as "a very intelligent and keen executive at the head of the West Pittsfield colony" [as a trustee] (BERKSHIRE EAGLE). In June, 1939 she was chosen to become a member of the Central Mir"iistry, together with Srs. Ella E. Winship and Annie Rosetta Stephens of Mt. Lebanon, and Josephine E. Wilson of Canterbury. When the Mt. Lebanon, NY, community closed, its remaining members had to move to Hancock, in 1947. Sr. Frances, as Hancock trustee, remained a member of the Lead Ministry, and was assisting Eldress Emma Belle King (from the Canterbury community). The latter assumed more and more responsibilities and thus upon Sr. Frances Hall's death in 1957, the office of the Ministry was moved to Canterbury, NH. villageplus the Church F.. Hancock
