(DAB) 24 Aug 1881 Went from CF to NF to live. 1892 Was one of 5 sisters remaining at NF to move to CF when NF closed. 1919 Came to Chrisdtmas dinner at SF. 31 Oct 1921 After death of Elder Josiah at CF, Lebanon Ministry arranged to have Hugo Stroebel take over running of CF farm, as well as SF. Julia was sent "on special pilgrimage to inform Eldress Anna Case that Fred Willey, Eldress Mary Nelson, Libbie DeLong and herself would run their own place... and wished we would mind our own business." (Anna Goepper) 23 Nov 1921 Hear that Eldress Mary wanted Julia appointed as trustee at CF but Julia refused saying "she neither felt capable or able "but was willing to help all she could but wanted no break or hard feelings with SF." (AG) 10 Dec 1921 When Eldress Caroline Tate and Lucy Bowers went to CF to suggest that, in return for all the work he did for them, Byron Coburn might be given some of Elder Josiah's clothes, they talked to Julia, not Eldress Mary, apparently as being a more reasonable person to deal with. (AG) 1926 One of four CF members who refused to leave CF when property sold. (Three had moved to SF in 1923 when sale of CF was first talked of and planned.) Filley 1928 Left Shakers.
