bio Tuttle, Annie Belle (1868-1945), of Shirley, MA, was born in Barrington, NH, and admitted December 23,1876. She lived in Shirley, MA, but shortly after the sale of the Shaker properties, she moved with the other Sisters in January, 1909, to Harvard, MA. She must have been a close friend of Eldress Josephine Jilson (see there). After its closing they moved to Mt. Lebanon, NY, where she was assigned to the North F., and where she lived 27 years. She died in Pittsfield, MA (from a shock after a tragic accident to another Sister), and was buried in the North F. section of the Church F. cemetery at Mt. Lebanon, NY. She was the last Shaker to die at Mt. Lebanon while the Shakers still lived there (the survivors went to Hancock, MA).
