Library, Old Chatham, NY, in August 1950). Second youngest of five siblings, she was born in 1872, in Brooklyn, NY,
and was admitted to the Church F., Mt. Lebanon, NY, on July 11, 1976, together with three of her siblings. She
attended school already in 1876, when only 4 years old, and finished school in 1887 - taught through all those years
by Sr. Amelia Calver, from whom she got many awards. She left on January 2, 1890, for "an extended visit
with'felatives." She married Henry Terry Clough, also a former Shaker. They both returned to the Mt. Lebanon
Shakers in February, 1909, with five children, and $50,000 that he made from his business. They both signed the
probationary covenant in that year.
