(VB-279) Had son John (who left Shakers 5 Apr 1830 "to seek the delusive enjoyments of the world" VB-279),son Marinus and daughter Lucy. 2 May 1838 Heard Louisa Fairchild had her leg broken when a cow kicked her and continued kicking her after she fell. Found it was her ankle—very much mangled and very painful. (VB-315, CF Journal) 4 Jan 1865 Some of CF sisters go to NF to watch with Louisa "who has had a paralytic shock." 23 Oct 1867 Died at NF. "Marinus Fairchild, her youngest son, having been written to concerning her feeble state of health, arrived at NF some time after her death."
