William Brown ran away last Tuesday and on Wednesday the brethren brought him back
and today he has run away again. Frederick and William went to Troy to see his
father and gave up his indenture."
29 July C. Copley has the measles.
8 Aug Have another order for bonnets from Baltimore - about 20 doz.
23 Aug Nhncy Wells has the measles /Phebe had .it lastweek.
28 Aug Dr. Graham was there and delivered a lecture to them.

Theodore Bates ran away yesterday.
31 Aug Theodore is in Stephen town and chooses to stay there.
8 Sept Theodore has returned to us again.

24 Sept Almira Treadway, Lucy Fuller,. Jeremiah Copley and Thomas Welis are sick with the
measles.
8 Oct This week Willoughby Green, Luther Parks, Ransom Parks and Charles White had
the measles.
14 Oct "Today about 10:30 we were alarmed by the report of fire. The sisters blowed the
shell and rang the bell . It was the drying house that took fire, we suppose itmust
have catched by the stove pipe. We all ran and did what we could, but itwas too
late to save the apples that was drying but we conquered the fire before 1 1:00.

Vorrell has returned from NY. He had his suits stolen from his trunk lastnight.
Frederick^went to the NF to help set window glass fortheir new house.
17 Oct Vary Ann Bates and her brother Osee have come to the CF to live.
3 Nov John Davison ccame today and hisbro. Andrew. Sarr=pta Wood moved to the NF
4 Nov Abihial Wood has come and brought two little boys,Nathan and Josiah.
7 Nov "1 understand about 17 in the NF have the measles. All came from Loiza Spencer,
about 4 years old, who had them when she came."
(However, according to her journal, July 10, it was the Mortimer girl.)
10 Nov ~ The ministry returned toLebanon and took with them two littlegirls -Emily Wilkersoh,
5 years old, and Loiza Spencer, who w i l lbe 4 on Nov. 14.
15 Nov Elder Benjamin J^n has moved into the brick shop today and had dinner with the
family, setting next to Elder Brother.
21 Nov Last night a woman came", said her name was Mary Ann Chary^Coary). She has a sick
child - a 4-month old boy.
27 Nov Andrew and John Davison ran away and went to their father"and we are willing :

they should stay."
28 Nov(Mon) Ruth and Clarissa went to Bulson's. Anna Bulson died lastFriday and Catharine,
her daughter, died yesterday. Catharine wanted to be buried by her mother. Their
funeral is this afternoon. This family have all died with consumption within afew years.
30 Nov Vary Ann Chary has gone to the SF . (fawy)
1 Dec A brother from Hancock came and said that Barnabas Sprague, another brother from
Hancock, was sick at H i l l ' s Tavern.
Elder Brother went and brought him here.
3 Dec William Bates has come here to live.

6 Dec Freelove and Ruth Whipple came here to live. Freelove is 1 1, Ruth 5.
13 Dec Have taken a boy 3 years old, Samuel Knight.
22 Dec "Frederick, Chauncey, Elder Benjamin and Jeffe have been to Albany. They have agreei
with Groat for the Island and have paid 5800 towards it. "
