1 Aug Brother Seth and Justice went to Lebanon and took the Hedrick children
with them.
2 Aug Catharine Adams brought her 5 year old daughter, Mary Frances, and bound
her to Clarissa.
4 Aug This afternoon Polly, Caroline and Betsy Harrison went with C. Copeley
to see the Island. "We leave home 1:30, arrived at River Farm 4:30,
stayed about 2 hours and got home 7:30.-"
15 Aug The sisters went to Schenectady and exchanged bonnets for carpets for
the garret hall. (of the Office)
19 Aug The children at the SF "seem to be very much wrought up. They have "'
diverous gifts, shaking, turning and singing and the like." They have
continued their gifts two nights this week until nearly midnight.

28 Aug The widow LeonarcKhas brought her daughter, Sarah Jane, 9 years old.
5 Sept. Public meeting. The brethren thought there were about 600 spectators.
JaiEU- A powerful meeting but they had little room.
The brethren have taken a boy for stealing watermelons. A man came
after the boy but the brethren did not let him go. After supper the boy
made a confession and then he had liberty to go home.
4 Sept Thomas Rose and Giles Van Voast ran away from the NF, Thomas to NY and
Giles to his father in'"; Schenectady .
8 Sept Polly and Sarah Fairchild began an order for 6 doz. bonnets on Sept. 1
and finished them at 2:30 today. Cut, plaited and put them together,
crown lined and bound.
11 Sept Joseph Chapel has had his trial and is going to state prison for 5 years
and his companion for 3 years. ,
17 Sept "Eleatt Gibbs and Ann Marian Goff appears to be in vision. They x^ere
Si in. . put in the wagon and carried home. They could not help themselves at
all. I understand they lay in vision about 4 hours."
19 Sept "There is a number among the families that have had visions."
1 Oct "The visions among the families still continued."
19 Oct The sisters have reeled the (cocoons) and got 7 runs of silk,
21 Oct Frederick has gone out of the elders order and STanton has gone to live
with Elder Brother.
31 Oct Theodore Bates and his wife have made up their minds to go to the world.
"Sarah Ogden has fled here for protection. Her mother threatened to
carry her off but she is not willing to go with her."
20 Nov. Frederick is drawing stone for a pipe kiln.
21 Nov. The Mt. Lebanon NF had a loss. They hired 3 men to draw broom corn
from Schenectady to Lebanon. On their way, two of the loads were burnt
up, one wagon, one set of harness and the barn they were in.
24 Nov Polly has been to WF this afternoon. "They still continue having visions

Clarissa and Mariah have been to WF and saw Eleatt in vision. There
were four went into vision while in public meeting.
Elder Brother Joseph Hodgson went to Lebanon and returned with Isaac

12 Dec "The elders have been to the SF. While there we saw Elizabeth in vision.
She was in 13% hours."
24 Dec (Sun) There have been five in vision today among the families. Some of them
labored some time after public meeting broke upw
