TT~Apr "Sarah Fairchild has undergone a great deal of distress today. She was
taken this morning soonkfter 8 with spasms and continued so thru the day."
12 Apr Sarah died at 9 a.m. Her spasms had continued until about 1 a.m. and
then she lay still until she died. Had 63 spasms.
13 Apr Rebecca and Ellyett came to teach them a little song that Sarah had
taught Ellyett last night and was "anxious to have sung at her funeral."
While they were there Ellyett went into a vision, and saw Sarah and
conversed with her. "She said that she and Mother Ann were going to
attend her funeral and were going to stand at the foot of the ranks."
We had our funeral at 2:00, the sisters went to the grave.
14 Apr William"Golden was here on Thursday and asked us to take his 3 girls and
Sat. __ we agreed. Today he brought them - Delia Maria, born Oct. 3, 1827;
Ann Eliza born Sept. 12, 1829, and Sarah Jane, bom June 12, 1833 in

15 Apr Three senators attended out"meeting, after meeting came to the dwelling
Sun. house, looked around and spoke to most.
16 Apr The senators thought it "would be well for some of the sisters to go to
the Senate and Assembly so that they might see that we were not confined.1
Accordingly Elder Brother Frederick, Polly, Betsy Harrison and Loiza
Smith went into Albany and attended nearly 3 hours. This appeared
quite pleasing to them."
19 Apr James Robertson, born May 20, 1825, comes to CF to live.
29 Apr William Golden came and bound his children. He calls the two older ones
3 years younger than he did when he brought them and the youngest 2 yrs.
2 May I understand Loiza FairchilcKhad her leg broken when a cow kicked her
and continued kicking her after she fell.
3 May Zeviah and Jennet x^ent to see Loiza"and found it was her ankle that was
broken and very much mangled and very painful.
7 May Elder Brother, Polly, Mary Ann and Mary Mully went after cowslips "and
got a good meal."

26 May Elder Freegift and 5 others from the west arrived.
27 May Clarissa Buckingham^died. She has been sick 4 weeks and 2 days. She
Sun. slept the last week day and night and could not be waked up. ^^-^u^^C
"There were 3 of the NF little girls in vision. They came here in vision
and T understand it continued till after they got home."
29 May Polly has begun to spin silk^
1 June Frederics has begun to mold pipes.
8 June Eliza Shadwick ran away 3 days ago and we have heard that she is with
her mother in Albany.
9 June Eliza came back to be taken in but they sent her off.
16 June Polly has finished two more runs of silk'^
22 June "This morning we had strawberry shortcake for breakfast. It was good."
24 June "The Governor and his family stayed here last night - 7 in number."

27 June Joanna Bennett died. She has been confined to her room for 14 weeks.
29 June Margaret Bates was here to see her children.
30 June 0. Bates ran away to his parents.
Two boys came from Albany - James and Alexander Patrick.
2 July Theodore Bates is given up to his parents.
12 July Elder Freegift and company leave to return to No. Union.
13 July Edwin Wo His Hays, born Sept. 16, 1832 in Town of Van Buren, Onondaga
Gy., and (Arabella Maria Hays, born Mar. 25, 1835)in Town of Ogden, Mon-
