14 Aug "Anna Bennett has been quite unwell ever since Joanna died, but has kept
about chief of the time, This morning she went downstairs but was unable
to get back without help. This evening about 8 she departed this life."
Aug "This afternoon at 2:00 we attended little Anna 's funeral. It rained ^
steady all day so the sisters could not get to the grave."
22 Aug The widow Durham brought her 4 children and bound them to William
Yearsley.
23 Aug Have been working on the stone sisters' shop for some weeks. The brethren
borrowed a fire engine in Schenectady and today they washed the stone
shop and the workmen are pointing it.
26 Aug Thomas Prentiss^died. He was brought to the WF the 8th of this month,
sick when he came. -3 y^--
30 Aug There had been a fire in Hudson a few weeks ago which destroyed about 1/3
of the city and the ministry thought it best to make a donation "which
we freely did" and some of the deacons have gone to Hudson with it.
31 Aug Deacons reported that Hudson appeared to feel very thankful. It was
thought there was about $1200 worth from Lebanon, Hancock & Watervliet.
1 Sept This evening three of their little girls went into visions but their
Sat. visions did not continue long.
2 Sept. We had a good meeting in the Meeting House. While there, five of the
Sun. 2d Order girls went into visions.
James Robertson has made up his mind to go to his father so Austin has
taken him to Albany.
Last Wednesday Josephine had a vision about 2 hours long and today
Freelove and (Ellyett *#) have been in vision about, 2 hours.
Freelove^has been in vision again this evening.
This evening we went into the meeting room and had a vision read that
came from Groveland.
Freelove and five of the 2d Order girls went into visions this afternoon.
Last night 5 of our little girls were in vision, some for 5 hours.
Fftulm W-ityffchas
been in vision 4 hours today - went at 8, returned at 12.
Russell Rosyer, 8 years old, got his arm caught in the broom corn scraper
and had it badly torn from his elbow to his fingers.
Harriet Clary died. Not quite 15.
22 Sept Order from Baltimore for 100 bonnets.
27 Sept The bonnets have been shipped to Baltimore.
30 Sept "Today our house has rung with new songs almost continuously except
Sun. retiring time. Nancy and Sarah sung the songs under operation. They
had the power of God upon them nearly all day."
4 Oct "Nancy was taken in vision 11:30 and Sarah at 12:15. Their gifts con-
tinued until 3:20 this afternoon. They had a very beautiful gift from
Mother to the sisters."
"This morning we had a love gift meeting lasting 2 hour 36 minutes.
Nancy said Mother Ann was there. Nancy and Sarah both went into vision."
This evening Nancy, Sarah and Freelove all went into vision.
"We have had two very good meetings today. And besides them the sisters
were told that Mother was going to dinner with them. After dinner the
sisters all gathered in the meeting room and there we received some very
good counsel from Mother." ^
24 Oct The brethren have begun to shingle the new Stone Shop. Fred has fired
the pipe kiln today.
25 Oct Visitors from Lebanon brought back Loiza Spencer. Her stepfather served
writ on them for keeping the child.
