17 Apr C. Copeley, Clarissa oTMariah Treadway went on a trip to Saratoga, Sandy Hill,
Glens Falls and Lansingburgh selling bonnets and sold 344. Back on 20th.
22 Apr Morrell Baker, Elizabeth Train and Polly went after cowslips and got enough for a meal.
24 Apr Benjamin Train has returned to CF; has been at NF for3 years.
11 May Mariah Treadway' has released the deacon's order and Lydia Annas takes her place
and moves to the Office.
16 May The Governor came here this afternoon. He Is38 years old today.
21 May Sarah Jane Ogden moved from SF to CF to live.
27 May Elizabeth Hawley has gone to the world.
3 June Dorothy Kibbe died. Born Apr. 4, 1773. Had been confined to her room with
lameness 8 1/2 years. LL*^
6 June Four orders for bonnets received yesterday so we s i t up until
nearly 2 a.m. working
on them,--RoJ.Iy>rLu'cy:,trTSarah and
Nancy. Put together 52 bonnets in 22 hours.
22 June "Pol l^expects to quit making bonnets for the present. She has put together about
3350 bonnets since she first began... in 1834."
10 July Sarah Ogden's mother came with her two boys to visitSarah on the 6th. Today she
leftbut left one of the boys with the Shakers.
12 July Hiram and Lewis Spencer ran away.
17 July "The good Ministry thinks It best forthe boys to have milk twice daily and for us to
do according to our ever blessed mother's directions relative to the children's diet."
20 July Jesse Harwood, Polly, Lucy Fairchild, Lyda Springer, Sarah Hays and Betsy Springer
go to Albany. Sarah and Betsy went "to secure their children, they had to affirm
before the judge and justice of the peace that their husbands did not provide for them
and their children." Edwin and Arabella were bound to Jesse and Lyda and Leonora
were bound to Polly. /
31 July Two children came here to live - Sarah Beal, born Aug. 9, 1832 and William Beal,
born Mar. 16, 1836, both at Camptown, NJ.
1 Aug Issachar Bates fellabout 30 ft. from a building and is confined to his bed.
17 Aug Eldress Elizabeth jmoves from SF to WF and Rebecca goes to SF to take her place,
and Emeline Clark /takes Rebecca's 'place.

23 Aug "Catharine Vedder and Jennet Angus have taken some belladona (also called deadly
nightshade). It was done by the herbs being labeled wrong. These sisters were both
very sick but are doing as well as we could expect." '
28 Aug Emily Conklin came to CF to live. Has been at WF 18 years.
31 Aug Ministry return to Lebanon and take 12 year old Jane Reynolds with them.
28 Sept Poll^"varnished 16 little baskets that she has made.
25 Oct Masons have finished plastering the Stone Shop. They began Sept. 30.
31 Oct NF have been moving into their new dwelling house this week. "Last night they
attended meeting in the new meeting room. I understand all that have died there In
the last 10 years attended with them. " Today they moved their beds.
29 Dec "The brethren and sisters have all signed the deeds in the Society today in the presence
of Laban Hill."
