9 Apr Philemon Stewart came from Lebanon with a book about to be published to the world
and the greater part of the brethren and sisters gathered In the Meeting House to hear
itread. Started reading at 8 am until 1 1:30, began again at 1:00 and read until about 5
10 Apr Stanton Buckingham had his leg badly cut while sawing wood--to the bone above the
knee cutting allthe cords and sinews, and also under the knee, tearing out flesh and
cords. (This was DAB's brother.)
11 Apr Society meet again to finish reading the book "Sacred Roll ", beginning at 8 am and
finishing about 1 pm. "Some signing was also done after the reading by the leading
members and instruments."
19 Apr Daniel Boler came from Lebanon principally to get more signers to the Sacred Roll &
Book. Nearly all the Society members over 21 years had the privilege to sign their
names.

13 May The Elder Brother of WF came and informed the elders that Abie] Wood had "made up
his mind to try the flesh again. He came down this afternoon to see his children--gives
them some few articles of furniture, a couple of small beds, etc."
