16 July "The whole church convened at the sanctuary to attend worship; from here all marched
to the Center Square. There was considerable communicated by the Holy Angels at

20 July NF shop broken into and $14 stolen from a cupboard which was also broken open.
22 July About 20 men and boys of the world gathered around the mill this evening, probably to

28 July Accident on railroad west of Schenectady. Eastbound train (33 cars) running about an
hour late, a train started west from Schenectady; they met on a curve about 6 miles
west of Schenectady. No lives lost,but much equipment destroyed or damaged. Elder
Freegift and 3 others were on the eastbound train.
6 Aug The whole church met in the sanctuary with the Ministry (from Lebanon) and Elder

26 Aug Freegift finally got his things that had been on the train with him that was in the wreck.

In the evening the brethren are putting the bell by the side of the woodhouse, north

2 Oct Have stone foundation of mill done, begin placing s i l l s .
5 Oct Benjamin Train went to Lebanon to get some help in raisingthe mill.
10 Oct 21 brethren came from Lebanon today in answer to our request.
1 1 Oct Started raising the mill, got all the bents up - 2 In am, 5 in pm. No accidents or
injuries.
12 Oct Finished raising the mil! by 3 pm. "Itis 80 by 40 feet, well framed, no mistakes worth
relating, went together nicely altho the first buildingLoren Wicks framed. "
Jose ph Brown fell about 5 feet and broke his collar bone and was taken to Albany
to have Dr. March set it.
