in the morning meeting. "This afternoon at 2 we attended Nancy White's funeral .
Her mother came from the SF and attended also.

who, according to report, are dieing off by the thousand's for want of the necessities
of life. The potato crop (the staff oflife among the poor people In Ireland) entirely
failed last season and a famine seems to prevail . The brethren and sisters are engaged
accumulating something, not only our family but the whole Society / are preparing a
donation fortheir relief. 1 understand the neighborhood generally and throughout
this state and the U.S. are extending relief. The Society and Lebanon have fonvarded
nearly $700 worth of clothing and provisions. "
