"eloped this morning instead of going to school.
Meeting with disappointments, getting hungry, muddy
and wet, they returned begging to be again received."
1 May (Sun) While WF was in meeting last evening, someone broke
into their Office and went thorough 2 desks apparently
looking for money but found none. About the same time
someone broke into the SF office but there they got
about ?6.
23 May StantonVBuckingham to be released as trustee living at
the Office and will move into the dwelling house as
one of the family deacons and have charge of the cows;
Chauncy Miller will take his place as voting trustee at
the Office and Daniels/Sherman be an assistant at Office;
Channing^Prentiss to take charge of garden; Maynard
Treadway released as family deacon; Splith Taylor to move
to NF and be their shoemaker; Albert^Twiss released from
elder's lot at NF and to move to CF; Samuel Rose to go
back to live with Elder Brother DavidvHawkins at NF;
Sally Mully removed as family deaconess in CF; Elizabeth^
Seely replaces her.
31 May William Markwell, a youth, came from SF to CF to live.
27 July "A comet has been visiblefor a number of evenings past
in the west about 5 degrees above the horizon, having a
very brilliant tail. It is plainly visible about 7:30
p.m.
5 Sept Elder Bro Freegift, Jesse Harwood, Aurilla Whittle,
Caroline Vernooy and Sophrona Smith started on a trip
to Long Island, to be gone about 2 weeks.

20 Feb Phoebe Ann Smith and Angeline LeFuma, the former an
elder and the latter a nurse, have changed positions at
the NF. Gordon^Horton is released from the farm there
and is now to be in charge of the stock and Cyrus Bates
takes the farm.
AsavSeaton has gone from the WF to the SF to be a
deacon with Alexander Youngs.
