19 Mar "Phebe Freeman, a youth girl, behaves in such a manner
that she has but little union here and now she chooses

20 Mar Abiah^Crary of NF died.
Isaac Markwell, a youth, decided to go to his relations
in Albany.
26 Mar "Marian Ward, the sister of Phebe Freeman, brought her
back and left her at the office, not being willing to
trouble herself about Phebe. Mariah was informed that
Phebe had broken her indenture by bad conduct and we
should not keep her. She, however, tarried at the
Office overnight but started off the next day."
28 Mar Cynthia^Sherman died at NF.
20 Apr Set out 6,000 plants of new Austin strawberry.
27 Apr Set out 4,000 more.
7 May Chauncey'/Miller subpoened to attend court in Buffalo
and from there he will go on to the 167 acre farm in
the Town of Hudson, Illinois.
8 June Ann/Bowser died at WF.
30 June 2d Reformed Church of Schenectady had a picnic in CF
Sat. south woods and were furnished with 18 qts . of straw-
berries at 18 cents per qt . "After their diversions in
the wood, they marched into our village in front of our
dwellings and sung several times . Our school children
some 50 or 60, at the dismissal of our school, also
sung two, or three times."
1 July Abigail^Lemon died. "She was one of the good aged sis-
ters who was full of grace and truth and closed her
life in peace. She had been blind for a great number
of years yet she has knit stockings and footings in
great abundance . "
2 July Had so many strawberries they were offered to the other
families if they would pick. So some came.
