14 Jan Galand Richmond of SF had accident in Schdy. Team ran away, wagon loaded with brooms
ran over his leg,bruising it, crashed into house, breaking windows, broke wagon tongue
which killed one of the horses.

Geo. Hall, the great ice dealer on Broadway near Patroon's Creek, has some 50 teams
hauling 2 loads each, 25 men working on pond.

25 Mar Charlotte Youngs of 2d Family died. Fell downstairs a few days ago, breaking her arm

25 Apr A man calling himself Thos. Hart living at SF forseveral months, said he was commissioned
_ by people in north of Michigan calling themselves 'Waterviiet Shakers' to get such know-
ledge~and information as he could for their benefit. Was a fraud. Three officers came,
