August Funeral in Glenville - ? Hilton
"The person was a wealthy young man who had been
engaged in some mercantile business in Troy, but whose
health had been rather poor for some time past. Of
late he seemed impressed with the idea or feeling that
his end was near, and "informed his friends and associ-
ates that he should not live beyond the 15th of August,
and that he must close up his business and go home to
die. Accordingly he settled his business, squared his
books and accounts, bid his friends and neighbors in
Troy an affectionate farewell with tears flowing freely
from his eyes, went home and was a corpse ere the

affecting one; and that it was thought that a great
many people would be at his funeral."
