24 Jan. "We are trying to make ready to go to Watervliet but sleighing is
poor and business drives very much."
28 Jan. "Rain and mud plenty. When we shall get to Watervliet I cannot tell."
7 Feb. "Some snow fell last night and this morning and most of this forenoon
while on our way to Watervliet. Cold day, wind NW, very poor sleighing.
Crossed on the ice at Albany."
Sun, Feb 8 "Very cold and windy. Not many spectators today at meeting."
10 Feb. "Jesse Wells comes to our shop with Elder Sister and Rebekah. Eld.
Bro. Joseph and Eld. Calvin came yesterday and also Bro. Issachar.
All made alengthy visits."
Wed. 11 E l d . Bro. David Hawkins came to see us."
12 Feb. Bero. Issachar informed us that Garret Van Hoesen has again made up
his mind to withdraw from our communion."
13 Feb. Garret and Delia went to the world yesterday."
Mon. 16 MorreI Baker and Chauncy Copley started for Whitehall with garden seeds
etc. for sale.
17 Feb. Garret Van Hoesen with Delia his mother, father-in-law and others
came with waggons yesterday for movable property.
25 Feb. "Elizabeth Train has been growing crazy some time and had to be con-
fined yesterday and about 12 o'clock last night she got out of the 2d
loft window and went to the meeting house and broke three lights of
glass before she was detected."
1 Mar "By general agreement all Believers in the land celebrated Mother Ann's
birthday at 6 p.m. by singing the hymns entitled Mother and The Precious
Way of God. Many other songs were sung and our meeting was powerful
and many of our departed friends were felt and seen. Our meeting lasted
an hour and 45 minutes."
Sunday, 8 Abiel Wood lodged at the office last night. He came to get acquainted
with Be I levers.
10 Mar. We returned to New Lebanon in an open waggon.
21 Apr. Stephen Wells stayed at our office tonight on his way to Tyringham.
He fnformed us that Catherine Younghans had lately gone to the world.

28 Apr. Planned to go to Watervliet but windstorm, snow and rain.
Ape. 30 Went to Watervliet by way of Albany. "The road was extremely muddy
and the ruts and mudholes in many places very deep..."
Sun, May 3 "Some members of the Legislature attended the public meeting. A wife
of one of them (cousin to Angeline Annas) stayed to make a visit."
Mon., 11 They were digging up the bodies of Mother Ann, Father William and Wm.
Bigsbee to rebury them in the regular cemetery. Details coincide with
