Schenectady--total 39. "The members from the Legisla-
ture came into the dwelling house after the last meet-
ing and avisited the brethren & sisters in their rooms
& had free conversation with them, especially the youth
& children. They appeared wonderfully satisfied with
what they had seen, heard & felt in our meeting & else-
where, even to the shedding of tears. They saw & heard
some of the wonderful works of God! But it is not
likely they saw the Angels that stood behind them in
the windows & spread a covering over them, nor the
golden chains that our good Fathers, William & James,
stretched between them & the Believers. But these, and
many other wonderful things were seen by such Believers
as had their spiritual eyes open."
