17 June FSWicker went to Albany & Troy "to assist Thomas Beal
who has been sued for back rent; he thinks Thomas will
not get off the limits without Believers paying $1401,
or his taking advantage of the Insolvent Act."
19 June Carpenters begin to place the sills of the new Meeting
House.
27 June the timbers having all been assembled, they raised the
Meeting House, taking about 12 hours. It is 112 ft.
Long,, 52 ft. Wide. ^Oliver Prentiss the chief carpenter
and Jesse Harwood, Supt. Of mason work.
1 July From NL CF came Isaac Youngs & Benjamin Gates; from 2d
Order Brother Amos; from 2d Family Amos Bishop; from NF
George Wickersham; from Canaan James Wilson, all to
work on the Meeting House.
15 July Channing Prentiss took Isaac N. Youngs and the "tinning
tools" back from WV.
17 July FSWicker attended court in Albany to try to get Thomas
Beal "Off the limits" and succeeded.
Nine brethren and 11 sisters went to the camp meeting
near Morris' .

22 July Clapboarding the outside of the Meeting House.
16 Oct Jesse Harwood brought a stone cutter from Schenectady
"To fix the stone stairs of the Meeting House."
21 Oct "North stone steps of Meeting^/ House are laid about
ready for the top stone or broad stair and the west
steps partly laid."
27 Oct Arched over the top of Ministry Shop chimney to prevent
it from smoking.
28 Oct "This morning the 1st & 2d Orders clear the ground of
all the swine, I hope for all, & drive them to Alblany.
The WF drove theirs off this week."
30 Oct "The masons commenced putting on the white coat in the
meeting room."
31 Oct "The stone steps from Amsterdam were brought for the
horse block north of the new Meeting House."
4 Nov Masons finish plastering in the Meeting House.
8 Nov Joiners hang some of the outside doors of the Meeting
House.
