10 June Ministry came to WF.
22 June Ministry leave WV for a trip to the eastern Societies.
Went to Troy, Lansingburgh, Schaghticoke to Reed's
Hollow in Pittstown where WV CF elders turned back.
Then to the checkered house in Hoosac, to Widow Corn-
stock's in White Creek for the night--35 miles.
On 23d went thru Jackson, Arlington to Manchester--22
miles; then Peru, Landgrove to Londonderry--38 miles
total.
On 24th thru Andover, Chester, No. Springfield--22 m. ;
then to Wetherfield & Connecticut River, up 8 miles to
Windsor--37 miles.
On 25th crossed river, 13 miles to West Lebanon & then
10 miles to Enfield, ND.
2 July, went to Canterbury.
5 July kAzuba Train died - 61.
10 July Ann Lo^ died.
11 July ^Clarissa Vedder died - 66.
12 July Margaret Reed at SF - 3s3 f*7 TB>
10 July. Started for Alfred via Loudon, Chester, Epson
& Northwood to Diover--40 miles; went to ocean at Wells
Beach.
16 July to Gloucester.
21 July to Portland, took steamboat for Boston with
horses & wagon. Canterbury ministry met them in Boston
"According to previous agreement and concerning Alfred
& Gloucester matters,"
Went to Newport, 8 miles from Lynn, on ocean, & stayed
4 days. Bathed in ocean & went to all the beaches.
27 July Started for Harvard. Front axletree broke but
horses stopped & no one hurt. Sisters walked on. Men
managed to get wheel back on & worked so well they went
to Lowell & stayed overnight. Wheel still working o.k.
So went on to Harvard.
4 August. Went to Shirley. In a bad condition because
of their factory. Everything they do seems to put them
more in debt. It sems best for the case to be left to
a referee for "we think the Believers would stand a
better chance to have justice done them."
7 August. To Enfield Ct. Through Lancaster, West
Boyleston, Worcester, Leicester, lunched with Olive
Hatch's brother, Spencer East South to West Brookfield
--40 miles; Warren, Palmer Depot, No. Wilbraham,
Enfield.
12 August. Thru Thompsonville, across Conn. River,
Summers, Westfield, Blanford --27 miles; Becker, East
Lee, Tyringham.
