24 May Canterbury singers leave for Enfield.
25 May Elder Daniel & Giles painting the east side of MH.
26 May Finish the MH painting except the blinds. Daniel Boler &
Oliver Prentiss take out the MH windows'to have them cleaned.
Group of sisters do that.
27 May MH windows put back in.
5 June (NL) Ellen Calver of CF "drowned herself in the machine shop
pond today noon, while the family were at dinner. She was
a young woman apparently of very great promise, butthus
she has summarily spoiled the whole of it."
6 (Sun) Giles addresses public meeting. Rest of Ministry go to NF
to attend meeting. Afternoon had a society singing meeting
lasting about 2 hours.
12 June Elder Issachar Bates of SF "confined with ophthalinea
(Egyptian sore eyes)."
14 June Alfred Ministry visiting; STanton & Nehemiah take them to
Cohoes Falls. Pleasant Hill Ministry arrive.
16 June On May 29, big meetings held in Boston to present Shaker
doctrine. Eldress Paulina Bates, Bro, Albert Lomas and
Sis Harriet Builard attended'and return home today.
21 June Pleasant Hill Ministry go to Cohoes Falls, with DAB and
Ceo. Price. Canterbury Ministry arrive.
29 June Brethren of Ohio Ministry Order arrive.
1 July "Extremely 'hazy, sun looks like blood all day and the air
is cold."
2 July "It is arranged for Charles Prater of SF to go home with
Union Village Ministry."
4 July (Sun) Albert Lomas addressed public meeting.
5 July Giles has been putting up a beehouse. Now a man comes from
Canaan to "put a plastic slate roof on the beehouse."

10 July Ministry return to Lebanon.
21 July Giles comes to WV because of "much tribulation with Win.
Bussell there." Goes back to NL on 23.
