24 Nov Gardeners harrowing rye on the new place by NYC depot
between Albany & Troy; drawing clay onto the gardens for
manure.
25 Nov Thanksgiving. Giles starts a training school evenings for
the youth boys, both in morals & in manners, and in literary
pursuits.
28 Nov Ministry spend day at WF. Elder Issachar very feeble and
cannot long survive. "But very few members in this family
able to attend meetings, or to do business. John Decker
is again at business, but not strong.
1 Dec Ministry talk with C. Copley & C. Miller "relative to man-
agement of CF home farm as C . Miller proposes to give it up."
2 Dec Ministry talk with C , Miller again. G iles making "some
