13 Nov Meeting of Society Elders & Deacons to decide about putting
slate roof on meeting house shed & it is decided to do at
once. C. Miller goes to Albany to hire a slater.
16 Nov Ministry team is sick with epizootic; Eldress Ann has
been in infirmary since they arrived.
18 Nov Giles goes to NF to see Albert Lomas "about his social and
spiritual family relations . "
20 Nov Giles goes to NF; see Josiah Barker & James Langridge about
a hot house they are building; then, with Elder Daniel,
talk with Bro George(t?Wo^ & Thomas Beal about family stock.
Arrange for Thomas to have management of stock on home farm
& George on out farms.
21 Nov Ministry go to SF to see about Henry George & Lewis Funk
moving to CF ; and in afternoon to cottage to visit the
families of Samuel & Margaret Gould & Loren Shocks & wife.
27 Nov "Today it would almost appear we will have to abandon the
idea of two young Believers removing into CF, but we shall
see."
28 Nov Ministry go to NF to arrange for their having an organ;
also for Josiah1 s work the coming winter.
29 Nov Ministry, except for Eldress Ann, returned to Lebanon.
2 Dec (NL) North Family has 25 men, 27 or 28 sisters.
12 Dec C. Miller escorts Eldress Ann home. (AlsoARuth Green &

1 Jan(NL) CF moves into new dwelling today. Dine at 3 p.m.
13 Feb (NL) Meeting of Ministry, Elders, Deacons & Sisters of each
Order with most other Sisters, about the inability of Sisters
to do the milking. It is proposed to hire a man to help
care for the stock & do milking.
18 Feb (NL) Two men came to get us to put up a new medicine for
asthma in small boxes.
29 Mar Ministry come to Wvlt.
31 Mar Visit by Elders of WF and SF; conditions of Society very
trying, indeed, a great need of more efficient leaders and
more consecrated members.
2 Apr Ministry go to SF to see William Johnson about moving out
of family; he does not consent, but Ministry are persistent.
Also Lewis Funk, a young Believer, to move to CF to care
for boys.
3 Apr Go to SF again; William Johnson at length consents to move
to WF, so Ministry goes to WF to tell Elders there.
