Nehemiah White very sick of heart disease.

15 Feb Has been thawing, now rains, floods all over. "The island
in the Mohawk is flooded, water up to r.r* track.

21 Feb (Sun) Meeting in morning, very good. In afternoon, Geo. Price
Eldress Katy Ferguson & Julia McNally come to see Ministry
concerning troubles about the dairy & other business trou-
bles at NF.
24 Feb Nehemian White very sick & "no one to wait on him much" so
Giles undertakes it some.
25 Feb Giles fixes bath tub for Nehemiah.

27 Feb Horrible wind (almost a tornado), 10 below zero. An earth
quake last night, sharp, splitting the ground in southwest
in many places'' between CF and SF.
28 Feb Giles writes to Elder Frederick Evans & advises him not to
go to England this year, as he wished, because of Lebanon
NF's financial & social conditions; they are largely in
debt, but have a large amount of outside real estate they
are trying to sell.
1 Mar Elder Daniel making baskets. Giles gives Nehemiah a bath
& sweats him.
7 Mar Philip Smith resigns trusteeship.
8 Mar "Have meeting of ministry, elders & deacons to decide what
work should be carried on thie coming season as a source
of income for the family.
