25 Nov Thanksgiving. Have reading meeting in afternoon, read

tions relative to prudence, & Giles spoke "at length
relative to family provisions & complaints, vindicating
trustee, & reflecting of cooks & deaconesses and eldresses
for lack of management."

5 Dec Go to NF & speak to family about moving Josiah Barker to
CF to live with Elder Charles Brackett. To move in 2 days
In evening, speak to CF about "finding fault with their
provisions; tell them provisions have been bountiful but
badly cooked and dispensed."

8 Dec Ministry return to Mt. Lebanon.

22 Dec Giles had received a letter from Ezra Leggett about Ky.
property & today went to Wvlt, probably to tell them what
it said. Visited every family,^returned to Lebanon on 24.

25 Feb Nehemiah White died. Elder Chas. Brackett very sick,
given only 36 hours to live.
26 Feb Chas. Brackett died.

28 Feb Money received," $5500, loaned by Wvlt to Groveland some
years ago. "I hope never to b orrow any more money for

3 Mar Elder Daniel works at/baskets; Giles mends clock, a re-
volkving chair, writes letters, looks for leak in CF
aqueduct,r& mends it.
