30 Mar Ministry return to Lebanon.
6 Apr (NL) Meeting with NF elders to "settle the question rela-
tive to Elder Frederick's going to England. Well, it is
decided for him to go & to take Peebles with him."
21 May (NL) Groveland WF has broken up, James Goodwin & Abigail
Grossman move to Lebanon CF, Marcia Hillsgrove to Wvlt CF.
26 May Ministry comejrf to Wvlt vith team. Move from their shop
back into Meeting House.
27 May Framing new CF mill.
1 June Ministry painting inside walls of their shop, then clean
the rooms, varnish doors, etc., then paints blinds -
21 June Sisters have a small order for palmleaf bonnets. Giles
works on cap to door of Brethren's Brick Shop, Elder
Daniel rakes hay in dooryard, Eldress Harriet goes on
Business to Troy.
29 June Ministry return to Lebanon.
21 July Giles comes to settle--- with John Fitch & his wife, then
returns to Lebanon.
2 Aug Elder Galen Richmond dropped dead at supper table at SF.
3 Aug Giles & Eldress Harriet come for Galen's funeral and to
make appointments, Talk to Ozias Bogart & Henry George
about this. Return to Lebanon on 6th.
21 Aug (NL) First meeting with new seats. Four chairs are fas-
tened together, made at SF factory.
24 Aug Ministry come to Wvlt, sisters by rail.
26 Aug James Goodwin calls at Wvlt "to see Marcia??"
2 Sept Giles puts new windows in Ministry shop.
11 Sept(Sun) "Now, in absence of Ch. Miller, only 4 males in CF to
attend meeting--Elder Josiah Barker, Stanton B., Daniel
Sherman & Win. Johnson. Philip Smith sometimes attends,
Sylvester Prentiss, seldom."
12 Sept Elder Daniel mends baskets j Giles helps Josiah clean out
old cellar under CF dining room.
22 Sept Stanton B., almost 90, goes to Albany with Eldress Harriet
& Mary Nelson to get a stove for CF dairy.
