3 July Giles begins working at new cellarway at north end of CF
dwelling.
9 July Giles caught about 40 Ibs, of fish this morning.
10 July Giles making doors for cellarway; Eld Daniel bottoms a lot
of chairs for SF.
24 July Giles catches four large bass before breakfast; cuts beans
for canning all day.
25 July Ministry return to NL.
19 Sept Ministry come to Wvlt.
20 Sept "Attend to the Dlers. Afternoon, Giles catches some bait
& then 7 fine large bass before supper."
21 Sept Giles catches some 20 Ibs. of black bass, a meal for family.
22 Sept Giles goes to NF and SF. Elder Chauncy Dibble "is used
". up & has moved himself back to NF. This leaves Bro Ozias
Bogart alone as Elder at SF
25 Sept Giles helps peal tomatoes; in afternoon catches a meal of
black bass for CF, some 21 Ibs.
3 Oct Ministry go to Groveland, take canal road from Rochester.
5 Oct (Grove) Go with Alexander Work "to see the drying kilns
of White Bros., north of Mt. Morris. They dry 1000 bu. of
apples in a day, 6 kilns. They have 150 acres in peach
trees:& 50 acres in raspberries. Had between 20,000 &
30,000 baskets of peaches this season."
7 Oct (Sun)(Grove) Consult with brethren about appointment of Bro
Hamilton DeGraw as associate Trustee. Agreed to.
8 Oct (Grove) Giles writes "a declaration of trust for Hamilton.
Arrangements made for William Bilmire to move to Groveland
WF place, to occupy a small building there for the coming
fall & winter.
10 Oct Ministry return to Wvlt.

16 Oct Giles & Eldresses start for Harvard "via tunnel route" &
then will go to Alfred., then to New Gloucester.
