JONATHAN SLOSSON, enlisted Jan. 7 1776, under Capt. John Shepherd of
West field, Mass . in the regiment- commanded by Col. E. Potter of
Arnold ' s Brigade . Pie was wounded at the battle of Jonas ' Bridge ,
between Fort Edward and Fort Ann, Tuesday, July 22, 1777, had his
right hand nearly ruined, was then in a company commanded by Capt.
Aaron Rowley. Became a member of the Society of Shakers in 1780,
has been considered as entitled to more than" -4 7 years ' pension.

Being one'^i of the solders who served thro the year 1776, he is en-
titled to 100 acres of bounty land. The above taken from his own
mouth & confirmed by his brother, David Slosson. Land worth $250.
HEZEKIAH ROWLAND enlisted in 1775 under Capt. Thos. Tanner of New
Lebanon. He was taken prisoner at the capture of Fort Washington
