14th Fri. Finished sorting old seeds and resumed the business of puting up seeds for the
southern route Cut some onion seed
15th Sat Cut some carrot seed in North garden and most of the Beet seed Continued
puting up seeds for the Southern Route
16th Sab. Publick meeting
17th Mon. Finished cuting Red onion seed. Drew some manure on the garden and put up
some seeds in the shop
18th Tues* Wound up the lines of the yellow seed onions pulled up the stakes and plowed
the ground Dug the potatoes on the Border Drew some manure on the garden
and cut most of the white onion seed continue puting up seeds for the southern
route
19th Wed. Threshed and cleaned the early curled lettuce Threshed some carrot seed and
picked over some Early Frame peas
20th Thurs. Drew some manure on the North Garden. Threshed and cleaned some carrot
seed Our carrot seed weighs 28 Ibs. to the bushel
21st Fri. Commenced boxing up seeds for the Southern Route
22nd Sat. Spent most of theday puting things in order
23d Sab. Public meeting
24th Mon. Continue boxing up seeds for the Southern Route. Ciawson loaded up 62 boxes
to take to the River to be sent to Honesdale.
25th Tues, Continue boxing up seeds for the southern route.
26th Wed. Finished boxing up the seeds for Honesdale, Port Jarvis & Wortsboro.
27th Thur. This morning Ciawson took away the boxes to be sent to Honesdale etc.
Commenced packing Canaan seeds
28th Fri. Finished boxing Canaan seeds except 5 boxes went to the Church Family and
brought home a cask of peas Large Marrowfat
29th Sat. Canaan seeds were taken away today commenced cuting last crop of carrot
seed Got the onions into the cellar except the yellow and a few of the white
30th Sab Meeting at the meeting house
