1st Mon. Commenced boxing up Lev! ShaW's horse load for the South. Toped some of
the beets.
2nd Tues. Commenced geting out cucumber seed in North Garden D.S. went to the Depot
to take some herbs there Levi made 20 new seed boxes.
3d Wed. Finished geting out Early Cluster cucumbers pulled the Royal white beans and
the runing cranberry beans
4th Thurs. Commenced geting out extra long cucumber seeds Finished boxing Levi's
load for the South. Levi painted his new waggon box
5th Fri. Cleaned up the Scarsity Beet seed had 196 1/2 Ibs. Continue geting out
Extra long cucumber seeds
6th Sat Rainy day worked in the shop most of the day brought the turnip beet seed
from the Granary to the threshing floor
7th Sab Rainy day no publick meeting
8th Mon, Levi Shaw & Henry Everts started this morning on the Southern Seed Route.
Threshed the turnip beet Gathered the crookneck squashes and got out some
cucumber seeds
9th Tues. Finished geting out long cucumber seeds where peas grew that ground yielded
five hogsheads
10th Wed. Finished geting in the onions cut last carrotseed in North Garden repaired
some old hogsheads to put cucumber seeds in commenced geting out cucumber
seeds back of hog pen
llth Thurs Attended Elder Ebenezer's funeral Steady rain all day
12th Fri. Cleaned up most of the Turnip Beet seed Finished geting out Extra long
cucumber seeds and commenced geting out Early cucumber seeds
13th Sat Continue gathering Early cucumber seeds Very pleasant today
14th Sab Meeting at the Meeting House
15th Mon. D.S. & two Sisters go to Albany. Gardeners continue geting out cucumber seeds
16th Tues. Finished geting out cucumber seed except a few selected for home use.
D.S. returned from Albany bringing Catharine Gray and 3 children.
17th Wed. Gathered up the rotten cucumbers
18th Thurs. Drew in the beans and cleaned up the Turnip Beet seed Did some work in
the shop
19th Fri. Gathered the pepers & tomatoes Finished cuting carrot seed Washed some of the
pepger seed Continue puting up seed for Northern Route Drew in 17 1/2 bushels
