10th Wed. Cut some more seed bagsT C.B. having finished making all that were cut.

llth Thur. Finished cuting all the paper on hand. At this time cut 6000 extra long bags
and 17000 cabbage size

12th Fri Continue puting up seeds for the next year's stock

13th Sat Considerable snow has fallen today. It has fallen steadily nearly ail day.
Continue puting up seeds for next year's stock.

14th Sab Snowed and blew all day (nearly); meeting at home.

15th Mon. Wind still blowing strong & cold from the North West. J.R. forward a small
box of seeds to R. Beech St. Croix, per R. White.

16th Tues Another snow storm last night the ground all covered with snow this morning.
Br. Jethro Turner made a visit here today. John Robe continues printing bags.
We put up 6 boxes seeds for Clawson to send to Troy.

17th Wed. Continue printing seed bags and puting up seeds for next year.

18th Thur, Cold weather mercury 19 deg. above zero. Cleaned and whitewashed the
seed shop.

19th Fri. Finished cleaning the Brethrens Shop. Commenced sorting the carrots in the
Garden Root cellar find them very much rotted. Douglass started on a journey.

20th Sat. Drew the chaff etc. from back of the seed thrashing floor to the old hog yard.

21st Sab. Meeting at the Meeting House. First timein several weeks.

22nd Mon. Clawson starts for the River, Rain.

23d Tues. Rainy. Sorting over the cabbages; they have kept very well.

24th Wed. Nothing very material today.

25th Thur. The farmers are drawing manure to their cornfield; 2 hands are stillworking in
the shop at brushes; the gardeners are thus disposed, 1 shoemaking, 2 drawing
stuffto the compost heap, 1 digging pestholes in the milking yard, and 1
spreading sawdust in the nursery.

26th Fri. Commenced getting out our yellow onions. Our onions have sprouted very
much, to their detriment. The 1st Garden, southside, West end beginning at
the walk/ was ploughed and dragged and 23 rows set out. 2 hands loaded &
spread the onions, 5 set out, 1 covered & 1 ploughed with a new double mould-
board plough, which/ however, got injured & had to be put away. We also
dug up about 1/2 of the parsnips/ which are not so large as last year's, and
spread some manure in the South Garden. The farmers are stillgetting our
manure. Theromometer today over 70. The onions were set rather nearer
than commonly (1/2 inch apart in 3 1/2 ft. rows).
