6th Cleaned up the rutabaga seed, had 19 1/2 * Cultivated the red seed onions

7th Hoeing Yellow Seed Onions commenced cutting Early York & Drumhead
Cabbage seed, picked some cucumbers for pickling.

8th Commenced hoeing seed carrots, cutting drumhead cabbage seed. The brethren
finished haymaking about 9 o'clock P.M.


9th Levi took a load of rye up to the Springs to Adam's Mil!, cut some Early York
Cabbage seed. Putting up seeds in the Seed Shop.

10th Gathered most of the Green Savoy Cabbage Seed. Mowed &pulled the Ear!/
Peas. Farmers commence cradling oats.


llth SABBATH DAY. Public meeting.

12th Picked the cucumbers for pickling. Hoed the Drumhead & Flat Dutch Cabbage.
Cut the Parsnip seed. Mowed the garden walks, helped the farmers rake & bind
some oats, & turned the Peas, which we pulled on Saturday. Cut some Red
Dutch Cabbage seed.

13th Hoed & wed some among the seed cucumbers cut some Drumhead Gfobage seed.
Gathered the Spinage seed. Cleaned up the Peppergrass seed had 3 10/16 Ibs.

14th Hoed the seed carrots, pulled the weeds from among the Short Top Scarlet Radish.

15th Finished the carrots in the forenoon. Afternoon attended James LaFetes funeral
at the Upper House Canaan.

16th Trimed the thorn hedge, hoed & wed the seed Parsnips.

17th Cut some Early York Cabbage seed. Cut some Parsnip seed & draw in the
Washington Peas.

18th SABBATH DAY. Public Meeting. Some visitors from Watervliet attend
meeting with us, also one John Woods, an Englishman by birth from White
. Water, Ohio, a very large concourse of spectators attended meeting with us.

19th Levi went to the carding machine, took some roping down to Canaan, took
Clawson down to the Depot on his way to Albany. Commenced thrashing Early
Washington Pease. Drew in theEarly Frame Peas.

20th Cleaned up the Washington Pease, had 6 1/4 bushels. Finished cutting the Red
Dutch, Drumhead & Early York Cabbage seed. Commenced threshing Early
Frame Peas.

21st Cutting sage & threshing Peas. Had 5 bushels Early Frame Peas.

22nd Cleaned up the Spinage seed, had 28 Ibs. Cleaned up the Winter Radish,
had 5 Ibs.
