9th Some are getting out Early Cucumber seed. Others are cutting for the last
time Red Onion seed & drawing in Short Top Radish.

10th Finished cutting Red & White onions* Continue at the cucumbers. Elder
Richard & the Sisters came home last evening. They spent most of there time
at Dr. Phelps in Stratford where strange mockings, noises & many misterious
occurrences has taken place. All met in meeting room this eve to hear them
relate what they heard & see. It was very singular to say the least.

llth Finished cutting Yellow Onion seed. Continue at cucumbers. Some went to
a raisin at FirstOrder but did not finish it.

12th Cleaned up the Short Top Radish 60 Ibs. Some went to the raisin again.
At cucumbers.

13th Threshing Parsnip seed, had near 40 Ibs. Picking tomatoes, cutting carrot
seed. Packing sage to send to NY,

14th Getting out cucumber seeds. L to the depot,

15th Public meeting. Singing m at home PM

16th Continue getting out Early Clusters, Levi to Kmderhook for broom corn.

17th Cucumbers. L returns. Visitted with Sylvester Prentiss & Nehemiah White &
4 Sisters from Watervliet,

18th Cucumbers, Farmers began buckwheat.

19th Finished cucumbers North; drew in & thrashed Black Winter & Long Salmon
Radish. Finished pulling onions.

20th Thrashing beet seeds. Eld, Bro. Chancey of 2nd Fam. died.

12st Sweeping gift improved.

22nd SABBATH. Public meeting AM, and home meeting PM.

23rd Washing tomatoes; cleaning beet seeds and pulling beans. Farmers to
Washington to build a cabin.

24th Thrashing beans; washing tomatoes; picking apples; drew 1 hhd cucumbers.
Levi Shaw to Watervliet.

25th Cleaned up 4 bushels E. China Beans; - beet seed, - tomatoes. Worked at
getting out cucumbers. Picked tomatoes for the Sisters.

26th L returns. Worked in the shop. Rainy & windy,

27th Rainy & windy, lightning. Pulled up & drew garden stakes; worked in the
shop, etc.
