               9th              SABBATH DAY.      Very stormy.   Meeting at  home bofe noon,   also a  practicing

                                meeting to learn to shuffle,  march etc.   Afternoon meeting as usual.

                10th            Rained all day,   Henry is cutting bags, making bags as usual    Wm.   & E.
<br>

                1 Hh            Rained most of the day.   Mercury   fellfrom 38 to   15 .  Cutting  & making seed
<br>
                                bags.  Plenty of water for  sewing.
<br>

<br>
                12th            13   Levi & John   R. went to Pittsfield. Bold north wind.blows.    They brougt
<br>
                                home a hatter  to assistBr. Frederick  & Wm.   Benedick from Hudson.    Capt.
<br>
                                Henry  Hiller from Hudson  is here tonight^
<br>

<br>
                13th            All of the gardners assisted in sorting & stripping the outside leafs offof the
<br>
                                Red,  Duch,  Drumhead, Flat   Duch which was moved     into the large part of the
<br>
                                celler & the  Green  Savoy  Cabbage.   A  strong S wind is blowing.   Snow  is all
<br>
                                gone except   drifts.
<br>

                14th            H.  is cuting bags, L putting up  ordered seeds & Wm.    & E making bags.    L &H
<br>
                                went to Polles at Whitings Pond for  some red onions; got only   4 1/2 bu., he not
<br>
                                haveing  more of the kind.   Rams most time.    Johnson from Branerds   Bridge is
<br>
                                here with  two girls.
<br>

                15th             H cut 18 thousand bags.   Making bags as usual.
<br>

<br>
                16th             SABBATH DAY,      Meeting  at home AM    & PM,   also practicing meeting.
<br>
                                 N.W. wind blows very     hard.
<br>

                17th             17,   Johnson left  forhome after breakfast,   his girls stay.Cutting  & making
<br>
                                 bags as usual.  , Read papers  in seed shop on Monday   evening,
<br>

<br>
                18th             23  , Clear.   Levi starts for Albany.  H went to depot  to_ take foxes & bring
<br>
                                 home clover seed which came from the west.      Sun shines bright  but S  wind
<br>
                                 blows strong 4
<br>

<br>
                19th             Prepairing to put up seeds for NY   in boxes.  Clausen & Henry C is drawing
<br>
                                 oats from the Camel  farm.
<br>

<br>
                20th             The time for getting up changed from half   past to five.  Boxing 37 boxes for
<br>
                                 NY,   finished today.    The wife & son of  the hatter came here today also
<br>
                                 another hatter from Pittsfield.  Rains most of the day.   They all attended
<br>
                                 meeting in the  evening.
<br>

                21st             We are  putting up seeds  & preparing boxes for   Troy.  Rainy day.   Boxed  16 boxes,
<br>

<br>
                 22nd            Finished boxing  Troy Route 47 boxes.    Levi returned from Albany   &  Sunday
<br>
                                 in Herkimer where he bought 48 hun.     broom corn for (blank).   Win  Benedict the
<br>
                                 hatter went home.
<br>

                 23rd            SABBATH   DAY.    Meeting  at home both A   & PM.    No  spectators.
<br>

                 24th            H is cutting bags.  E & Wm.   making.    Daniel   Tylor came today   to get some
