24fh (cent.) garden seeds, $30*78 worth. Reading the papers here this eve. as usual.
Rains all day. Clawson & George went to Pittsfield.

25th Cooler N wind. Put up abox for Clauson to send North. H went to the State
line with the boxes for NY & some brooms. Roads very muddy.

26th H took L toEdward's depot with more brooms & some brushes for New York.
He goes by Hudson Railroad & river. H went from E's depot to Canaan Depot
& brought some broom corn home. Very huffy In morn, A boat come to
Albany from NY "Oregon,"

27th W. wind blows strongly. Br. making seed bags. E & Wm went tosizing broom
corn today. H. cutting bags & putting up order boxes for Clauson. Very dark
& rainy.

28th Continuous raining. H cutting bags, cut 18 thous. Extra long size. Eve the
wind changed to N & freezing

March
1st We keep this day in commemoration of Mother Ann Lee's birth; she was born
29 Feb.th 1736, 115 years since & is kept much as Christmas is - meeting at
nine, union at 1/2 1 o'clock, supper at four, after which attend to business.

2nd SABBATH DAY. About 30 spectators & 150 br'n & Sisters atpublic meeting.
E's went to Canaan, meeting at 3 P.M.

3rd No one in seed shop, Andrew & Henry E. brought the rest ofthe broom corn
from Canaan Corners, 29 hun. Very cold N wind. H.E, started at about 3 to
take a man & woman from Pokipsee to Canaan Corners. He gave 12 skills.
Most of the Br, have commenced sawing wood at the saw mill.

4th H, went to mill & to Hancock Depot to get a bal. of P. leaf.

5th Levi arrived home little past noon. Henry went to Edward's depot to bring 5
of the 10 bis. of red onions he bought NY & some baggage for ourselves & Wm.
Thrasher who comes.

6th Levi & Henry are putting up seeds by the quantity for NY. Qawson came home
from Troy this eve. Wm. Bullard, father of SisterHarriet, came today to visit.
Attended meeting this eve.

7th Levi went to Canaan Depot to take some seeds for NY & get things. H putting
up some pound papers for Warren, Troy. Br. finished at the saw mill today
noon. Strong N wind for a number of days.

8th H. is putting up pound papers still. Br. Robert W. & Joseph Tillinghast come today

9th SABBATH DAY. Meeting at home, both A & PM, Joseph spake to encourage
the young to be content.
