4 Dec " New dwelling house having been built by the Young Believers West of North from the SF
on the opposite side of the road, the order of Young Believers was this day divided into
two families, the family in the new house called 2d Family."
Seth Y. Wells and his associate are now elders of 2d Family, ministerial order and gathering
Rjdargift remained at SF with Calvin Wells.
The temporal concerns of SF are under the direction of Deacons or Trustees at 2d Family.

2 May Ezekial Copley moved to 2d Order; Oliver Prentiss of SF appointed Assoc, Elder.
21 July Justice Harwood, trustee, moved to 2d Family. Shubel Prentiss ofSF appointed Trustee.

2 Feb Trustees move into office in the brick shop begun in spring of1829 - Shubel Prentiss
and Asa Seaton.
25 Mar "Mariah Lamb who lives at 2d Family was taken out of the Meeting House in the time of
Sun. religious devotion by her mother and other ruffians who take her to Schenectady. She is
brought back by her uncle on Tuesday."

April Trustees buy 10 acres ofMohawk flats1 mile above Schdy & about 13 more acres in Town
of Rotterdam.
1838 3-story storehouse built in SE corner of dooryard.
jjrflt 1845" Bought 9 acres a little west of Schdy. Sold in 1842.
^^^^ 1.&44 Bogught 8 acres in Rotterdam next to their property and leased another 40 acres for 5 years
to raise broom corn.
