25 Aug IB, Eldress Paulina and Sister Elizabeth Youngs go to Johnstown. Return 27th.
30 Aug IB, Daniel Youngs and James Fealey go to Albany to look for a thief who broke
into our shoe shop and stole all the bench tools and some leather."
5 Sept Asa bought 147 sheep for $325 and "$300 of it was sisters1 money. They gave
another $100 to improve the farm."
21 Oct Rent "the old house at the south farm" to a German and his wife for $50 per
year and gave him the privilege of keeping a cow, cutting his wood on the farm,
have four acres of land to plant on halves, and have his fruit for watching
the orchard.
27 Oct Charles and IB go to south farm to repair the house.
