Two men come from Mechanicville to get broom corn chips to make paper of.
A young man named Thomas Remington who had been at the WF came here for a
second privilege. ^

6 Apr The south end of our sawmill dam broke away again and took out most of the
sand that was filled in last fall.

5 Sep (Sun) Governor Hofman attended public meeting. Bro. Albert preached the sermon.
4 Oct "A hard rain and the floor took away part of our sawmill dam and filled up
the ditch below' the mill."
Brethren come from WF to help us save the dam. (^^^^
10 Oct (Sun) Attend public meeting. Only a few spectators including the Mexican consul.
19 Oct Funeral of Zeviah Spier^at CF and SF elders attend. ?f^
