26 July Angeline wasfr taken with bleeding from the lungs last
night, was brought home today.
28 July (Sun) Samantha (Bowie), Sarah Ann (Neal) and Adelaide
come to see Angeline. Dr. Brown here to see her.
29 July Eldress Harriet (Bullard) of Lebanon Ministry "comes up
after Angeline."
2 Aug Have begun building a new stoop for the dwelling house
(by Samuel Fellows).
"Colored^William here from Philadelphia on a visit."
3 Aug Eldress Harriet, Angeline go back to Lebanon on rail-
road. Angeline makes trip o.k.
9 Aug Georga/Hoffgesang is very low, do not think he will
recover.
11 Aug George^is very low, Mary Ann and I stay home in case he
should pass away. John^Dahm is here with two children.
13 Aug Ministry come in afternoon to find out if we want to
keep Henry George in the family and find we do not.
15 Aug Henry has decided to move to the Lebanon Center Family
and "we all turn in to get his clothes ready."
21 Aug I make 2 barrels of soap.
22 Aug Rebecca/Jackson and May Cope spend the day at SF.
24 Aug Geo./Hoffgesang's daughter and 4 children come to see
him. He is some weaker.
27 Aug Elder^Chauncey comes to take care of George, we are so
N short of help.
8 Sep (Sun) Go to the Meeting House in the afternoon. "Go to
seance in the CF meeting room. Had some rather
curious doings."
13 Sept Geo./Hoffgesang is about the same. Elder^Chauncey
takes care of him.
19 Sept Made 6 barrels of soap.
24 Sept Ozias goes to Albany and brings home two little girls,
Katie and Freida^Sipple, aged 11 and 12, for us to
keep. Their father came towards night. He agreed to
our agreement and leaves them.
28 Sept The girlsxyfather brings their clothes, also their
brother and a friend.
22 Oct Ozias takes Mabel Dent to her grandmother in Schen-
ectady. "She has the catarrh so we cannot keep her."
23 Oct Geo yHof gesang died.
25 Oct George 's^funeral in afternoon. His step grandchildren
attended.
Elder Chauncey^Dibble very miserable and not able to
attend funeral.
26 Oct George "slaughter here about noon in hopes of finding
him not buried.
28 Oct Cleaned the furniture out of George's room. "Elder
Chauncey grows worse, seems very weak."
30 Oct We finish cleaning George's room and Elder Chauncey
moves into it. "he says that he is going to see Elder
Galen. I move my flowers into the meeting room for
