31 Oct Elder Chauncey not expected to live through the night.
1 Nov Elder Chauncey died at 3:20 a.m. Mary Ann and I make
some preparations for his funeral.
3 Nov Elder Chauncey^'s funeral. "Not largely attended
because of weather. None from CF except Elder Josiah
and Chauncey Miller."
4 Nov Charles Smith left.
11 NOV Mary Ann and I fix up George's room and Jacob ''Bauer
moves into it.
16 Nov George^Price not well. /
23 Nov Eldress Rosetta went to NF to see George Price. He has
had a paralyt^tic shock and can hardly talk.
26 Nov Eldress Rosetta and I went to Albany and bought three
turkeys and two geese. I dressed them after we got
home.
28 Nov Thanksgiving "and we spent it accordingly by giving
things and eating turkey."
3 Dec Mary Ann^and I pack up the shed room and put the double
windows in the front rooms and dining room."
7 Dec George^Price is about the same. They think he will
recover, /
24 De "The Sipple girls' father came to see them and
bring them some Christmas."
