31 Oct Elder Chauncey not expected to live through the night.
1 Nov Elder Chauncey died at 3:20 a.m. Mary Ann and I make
some preparations for his funeral.
3 Nov Elder Chauncey^'s funeral. "Not largely attended
because of weather. None from CF except Elder Josiah
and Chauncey Miller."
4 Nov Charles Smith left.
11 NOV Mary Ann and I fix up George's room and Jacob ''Bauer
moves into it.
16 Nov George^Price not well. /
23 Nov Eldress Rosetta went to NF to see George Price. He has
had a paralyt^tic shock and can hardly talk.
26 Nov Eldress Rosetta and I went to Albany and bought three
turkeys and two geese. I dressed them after we got
home.
28 Nov Thanksgiving "and we spent it accordingly by giving
things and eating turkey."
3 Dec Mary Ann^and I pack up the shed room and put the double
windows in the front rooms and dining room."
7 Dec George^Price is about the same. They think he will
recover, /
24 De "The Sipple girls' father came to see them and
bring them some Christmas."

2 Jan Mary Ann is very sick, fainted away and fell down last
night. I stay in the house to take care of her.
3 Jan Mary Ann^is better. We work in the kitchen in a.m.
making mince meat for pies and go to shop in p.m.
20 Jan Do two weeks' wash and make 6 barrels of soap.
Sister Annie has sore throat.
24 Jan Sister^Annie can't swallow, "is in dreadful distress."
27 Jan Dr. Lothridge comes to see her.
28 Jan "I stayed with Sister Annie last night, am sick today.
Making shirts, both flannel (6 doz.) and cotton
(24 doz.) s
4 Feb I am knitting a cape for Jennet Angus.
"Eva ^Larkin) reigns in the shirt shop with the girls"
11 Feb Frank Larkin arrived very unexpectedly.
12 Feb Ministry arrived at CF from Lebanon and Eldress Harriet
came right over to see Sister Annie.
16 Feb (Sun) Eva and the girls try to entertain Frank by singing
and speaking.
18 Feb "Driving at shirts. Mary Ann is in the shop, I stay in
meeting room what time I have. Eldress Rosetta is
miserable, Sister Annie does not improve much."
1 Mar Mary Nelson and Abbie Bartlett come from CF to see
Sister Annie.
2 Mar WF elders come to see Sister Annie.
3 Mar Sister*Annie worse, nurses up with her all night.
