27 June Eldress Rosetta and Freidaygo to Albany to surrogate.
He says "her father cannot lay hands on her."
Making shirts continuously.
In July and August, are canning beans.
16 July Sipple^and daughter, Katie, here to get Frieda but she
would not go.
21 Aug Thomas^Beal died. Sick only a few days.
(This is peculiar entry since Thomas drowned himself in
the NF quarry.)
28 Aug Jane Smith, who was here when a girl with her brother,
visited. She is Sarah^Beal's cousin.
Canning tomatoes for sale. For themselves are "stewing
for sauce" pears, plums and applesauce.
21 Oct Elder Ozias and 9 others went to Albany to see Columbus
celebration parade; 7 more went in evening.
27 Oct Some of sisters go to NF to help prepare for people
moving down from Groveland. Find "croatan bugs" there.
30 Oct Fumigate the NF kitchen.
31 Oct Four Groveland people stay at SF, 4 at WF tonight.
6 Nov (Sun) Groveland people welcomed at meeting. ^ot all here
yet.

land. Brethren and men turn out to move them. One
sister comes to SF to live (?)
22 Nov Matter has failed in the pond, so Eva leaves the
kitchen and tends the engine so they have steam power
for making shirts.
24 Nov Thanksgiving. Had ducks for dinner.
25 Nov Isabella^Graves goes to Albany to get storm windows for
the shirt shop.
26 Nov Elder Ozias goes to Schenectady for 2 bbls. kerosene
and 16 bbls. flour. ,
6 Dec "Catie Sipple h ere after Freida. Did not get her."
26 Dec Eva^is in the shop "cutting capes for the young folks"
31 Dec Move stoves into house. Not to run heated until
repaired.
