20 Mar Ella^Myer down with the measles.
1 Apr Elder Ozias starts for Albany with Joanna Myer, Eva and
Grace - got out of barn gat^e and Joanna and Eva were
thrown out. Hurt some but doctor says nothing serious.
16 Apr Ozias and Elder Rosetta take FreidaM:o Albany to see
her father who is in the hospital and said to be in a
dieing condition. But he was better and they did not
see him. ,
17 Apr Striped dresses being made fomll the young sisters.
28 Apr Doctor came to see 8 in the family - C.S., Joanna,
Mary Ann, Anna Case, Isabella Graves.
30 Apr No meeting. Elder Josiah has measles.
6 June Freida's father came to see her and brought her some
things for her 16th birthday.
10 June Eva goes with Grace^Mamie'and Ray with John Dahm to
Kinderhook to see the children's grandmother. Home
on 12th,
24 June Emma Strawbridge and Caroline Tate visit at SF from
Old Enfield. Leave 30th.
11 July Burdett^Hanks was found, had fallen from cherry tree,
23 July Elizabeth H's half brother came to see her; "wants to
get her, makes some trouble." (J^ tdtyJ-e-**)
24 July Elizabeth's brother comes again and brought a man with
him to get her. She and Catharine go to CF.
25 July Boy Eddie taken by Elder Ozias to Schenectady, not to
return.
Elizabeth goes to Albany for counsel, not to be taken
away against her will. HB and AC go with her and bring
her home all right. (A**&^>
26 July Ozias and Anna Case take CatherineAto Cohoes not to
return/.
29 July Emma Bothwick's father here to try to get us to take
her back again; she is feeling very bad. Anna Case
goes h ome with him to see her.
2 Aug Ozias goes to Albany and brings Anna Case and Emma
BVbthwick home.
3 Aug Mary Frances C. decides to leave and Isabella Graves
takes her to Albany.
5 Sept Lucy and Emma ran away Monday night, back on Tuesday.
6 Sept Ozias goes to Lebanon to see Eldress Harriet about
what we should do with the girls.
15 Sept Lucy gone, not to return. Taken to the boat.
20 Sept Isabellai/Graves sells 30 ducks at market besides having
had a meal for the family.
3 Oct Cut up tomatoes for green tomato pie.
5 Oct Make "chaw chaw pickles."
6 Oct Isabella^is dressing ducks and chickens for her orders.
7 Oct Isabella^finishes chili sauce and grape catsup.
10 Oct Pealed quinces and pears for sauce.
13 Oct Isabella/to NF to get peppers to make chili sauce for
her customers.
