23 May OB got 60 doz. shirts in Troy.
25 May Four of Philadelphia^sisters at meeting - Sister *-i/v^ *
Rebeccar Leah and 2 others - have come here to live.
29 May The shirt order done, taken to Troy, get more.
3 June "IG going on with the farm work by looking around and
seeing what they are doing."
17 June Elder Josiah picked strawberries and sent them to us
for,shortcake every other day.
13 July Eva* puttying windows, sisters painting them.
27 July "Began for the week the same rigammarole - canning,
puttying and painting windows, washing and ironing.
Ministry sisters came every few days to help peel pears
or string beans and anything else. IG goes to Albany,
sometimes others with her; once in a while a dress
made; 8 and sometimes 10 hired men to feed and emply.

20 Aug OB^leaves us to go to his old home in Milton. Elder
Joseph of the Ministry helps get him off and takes an

24 Aug (Mon) "Sisters take a sail to Kingston Point, that is
where they go this season leaving washing & ironing."
8 Sept Elder Napoleon (?) took Alfred to the farm then took
shirts to Troy.
19 Sept IG's^ work left undone, half sick with a cold.
