5 Jan "Ozias* (Bogert) built a place in the girls house for El izabeth Ann' in
case she should get raving."
19 Feb Annie Bast moved here from NF.
(Worked on shirts they got from Troy but had frequent interruptions of
power. )
13 Mar Harriet's two uncles here in the afternoon.
14 Mar Elder Augustus^Blase of WF) is very sick. Herbert seems to be failing.
17 Mar Raised the barn at the flats (Rotterdam). We sent up dinner for 40.
El dress^ Rosetta and Mary Bast went to see to it.
21 Mar "Elizabeth Ann^Barker) so fractious we were obliged to confine her. It
is the first time. We spent the day in m a k i n g

her at the girls house." /
23 (Sun) Dr. Drower (Brower) came to see Elizabeth Ann. Pronounced her incurable.
Her disease softening of the brain. /
29 Mar Herbert's father came to see him. Elizabeth Ann seems to be failing.
El dress^ Rosetta and Rachel stay with her tonight.
30 Mar El izabeth^Ann died, "seemed to just s leepfhersel f away."
31 Mar Herbert went home with his father for|a visit. "Says he shall come back."
6 Apr El der^Augustus died last night. "It is with many tears and mourning
that we part with him."
16 Aapr "Took out dining room windows for painting, took down the cage at the
girls house and cleaned the garret."
23 Apr Had 50 doz, shirts to do. Four of WF girls came to help with shirts.
24 Apr Five of WF girls came to help with shirts.

1 May "Mary BAst went away to look f or , a
place and left Annie."
2 May "Mary Bast and her two children left.
4 May Had a very good singing meeting. Joslah takes El der^Augustus's place

12 May Ozias^went north and brought home his little girl.
29 (Thur) E I dress\/Rosetta went to Albany and brought home a girl.
2 June (Mon) The girl we took last week ran away.
1 July El dress^Rosetta to Albany and had 10 teeth removed and was not able to
get home. Rachel went with her to take care of her.
3 July Rachel came home to tell us Eldress Rosetta not able tcjcome home.
4 July Eldress/Rosetta came home feeling very miserable.
16 (Mon) Four here from Troy to see Edward; 2 more to see Katie, 6 to see Harriet
and Lizzie, 6 from the flower house and 2 from West Albany, making in
aII 20^vi s itors .
17 July Sarah 's^grandmother and aunt here to see her. Eldress Paulina died.
19 July El dress^ Rosetta got her teeth.
12 Aug Katie's son came for a visit. Left 18th.
