2 July It is excessively warm. Rachel^suffers a great deal with heat; Sister^
Annie nearly sick, she is ironing dresses for the girls.
13 July Racher improving.
14 July AbieiKHathaway died. ,
25 (Sun) Go to Meeting House. Rachel able to be left alone.

6 Sept Rachel goes for first ride with Josfe.
29 Sept Oziasr took 10 gal.of his catsup to West Albany Hotel.
14 Oct Eldress^Rosetta and I get Josie ready to go away. Rachel takes her into
the nurse's apartments until she goes.
15 Oct Eldresses go to Albany and put Josie on train for New Bedford.
19 Oct Sister^Annie and company picked up about 40 barrels of potatoes.
21 Oct El dress Rosetta starts for AcHushnet.
23 Oct El dress^Rosetta returns home, Josephine with her.
23 Nov Finished, after several days, picking corn husks. Now pick 10 turkeys
and 10 chickens.
25 Nov Thanksgiving. Had very good meeting at home and a very nice dinner
of turkey, celery and cranberries.
29 Nov Start shirt business again - 20 doz. from Troy at 600 a dozen.
1 Dec W I I IianrJohnson came to start their engine and see that it Is all right
and John Hill Is going to run It.
6 Dec Finish the 20 doz. shirts. Get more.
(During the winter, the number of shirts done reads 20, 20, 52, 32, 38,
30, 50, 40, 40, 20 or 342 doz. shirts, or 4,104 shirts)
