24 Feb., 1867 "The old house at Rotterdam East of the canal
is moved on the west side "hear our other buildings. "

Vists from Elder Frederick Evans to preach, from Elder Henry
Blinn of Canterbury, of Polly Lee from Groveland.

13 Oct., 1867 "General Sheridan was in our meeting today."

16 Oct., 1867 "Sarh Hilton's mother and grandmother here
to try to get Sarah away but failed in the attempt."

8 Nov., 1867 Abiel, Sister Harriet and I.B. attend court
at Judge Potter'sin Schenectady on the case of Sarah
Hilton, brought on by Sarah's mother. "

11 Nov., 1867 Abiel and Sister Harriet take Sarah Hilton to
Albany before the Surrogate to have choose her guardian."

10 Jan., 1868 Cold 4 below 0. Galen to the North with 7 team
after broom handle planks.
11 Jan. Cold. We had 5 loads of broom handle plank
come from the north.
13 Jan., 1868 Cold. Gfl^en goes to the north with 5 teams after
plank for broom handles.
14 Jan., 1868 Glen and company after more bass plank to the
north .
15 Jan., 1868 Cloudy and some snow. Galen and company,
with 3 of the Second Family teams bring from Galway 9
loads of basswood plank.
