7 Aug. "Eldress Caroline Tate and Lucy Bowers arrive at 5 p.m. from Enfield, Conn. It has been
decided to disband the one small family at that place and these two sisters will live here in
our family. Elder Walter Shepherd & Daniel Orcutt will ive at Mt. Lebanon North Family
and Tiilie Snell at Hancock, Mass, with Eldress Caroline Helfriech's family. Eldress
Caroline & Lucy have come on a short visit to look around and decide where in our Family
they will ive. Eldress Caroline feels terrible to give up her home where^he has lived all
her life. Lucy does not take itso hard."

8 Aug. Eldress Caroline & Lucy Bowers start for home at 10 a.m. Hugo took them to Albany station
Went to Alba**"to select wallpaper and buy other necessaries for their comfort here. ^ Ihey

9 Aug. Caroline & Lucy left for Enfield.

17 Aug. Mary and giris "cleaning shirt shop to have it in readiness toreceive the Enfield property
abd belongings, when shipped here, for storage and use."
4 Sept. "Mrs. Miller and daughter papering rooms at Office where Eldress Caroline, Lucy and Harry
(Eldress Caroline's uncle) expect to live. George Dahm, Frank Dahm and helper take tfte
job of all the carpenter work at the Office."

9 Sept. Hugo and Frank in truck left before breakfast forEnfield to get piano and other luggage.

11 Sep. Truck gets back with piano, chests, boxes, dining tables and chairs.

12 Sep. Carpenters making fine large veranda on Office.

13 Sep. Two masons and two tinners working on Office, "take their dinners here."
20 Sep. Carload of Enfield goods arrived m Albany. Hugo and men brought them out th
7 loads in all. ' ere was


1 Oct. Carpenter George Dahm and helper making bathroom and closet at Office.

8 Oct. "The Office is certainly fixed up fine, everything handy and nice. Geo 0 Dahm expects
to make a fine cement floor over all the cellar bottom, has one room finished now, I
understand Enfield money will pay for thisjob, as itwas all laid out by them,"

9 Oct. "Hugo and George Duncan start to Enfield in auto truck for another load of their household
goods. E Idress Anna and girls getting Office to rights forthe new occupants expected,"
