Hugo and George arrived homefrom Enfield with truckload.
Oct B 11 Eldress Anna, girls and the two painters put up bedsteads, beds and bedding and get rooms
put to rights at the Office."

14 Oct. Hugo started for Enfield at 6 am. "to help load a car of Enfield plunder for here and bring
Sun e the folks to theirnew home at our Office here Tuesday."

16 Oct. Enfield people arrive.
17 Oct. Enfield people busy unpacking belongings.

21 Oct. Hugo takes Eldress Anna, Eldress Caroline and Lucy to North Family to see Maria, an aged
sister that came from their society.

Dct. 23 Hugo to Karners with truck to unload car of Enfield property. Joe and James each with teams
to also - 10 loads in all.
Eldress Anna, Maggie, Freida, George and Harry and all the girls "placing the property
where thought best.11
Everybody dead tired tonight with the moving,"

24 Oct. "Maggie, Mary, Ella and I got a nice round center table from Enfield, home made of oak
and walnut. Freida and Mary got new dressers and all got new bedsteads from Enfield,
the old ones discarded. Also gave the family all their dishes, piles of them, much fine
glassware and some silver. They brought a great deal and gave it all in to the family
except what they needed for comfort,"
"A solid curlymaple table for the cookroom from Enfield; cake, pie and bread tins for the
bakeroom, all kinds of cooking and baking utensils,"




8 Feb. Mary Dahm, Eldress Caroline & Lucy made 24 pajama suits for the Albany Red Cross to be
sent to the soldiers."

12 Febc "This is Lucy Bowers birthday. Instead of us going to her, she surprises us allby giving
everybody in the family two large California navel oranges."

26 Feb. "1 made cookies for Lucy, Joanna & Maggie each a large pan full, they all love them so."
