3 June "Maggie went to North Family after supper to remainuuntil Ella Winship & Abbie Bartlett
return from East Canterbury NH Shakers to be company for Jennie Wells."

6 June Hugo after dinner took Eld Anna & 11 girls to Barnum Bailey & Ringling circus in Schdy .
Fri, Eld Caroline & Lucy got supper for the 9 left and Chas., the hired hand. Others home
9 p.m. having gone on to Burnt Hills afterthe show.

8 June "A stag load of brethren arrived from Mt Lebanon this p.m. - Ferdinand Racio, Alex
Sun. PetHff, Alex's father & Hugo Gallagher, the hired foreman of the ChF - and stayed
to supper.

9 June Freida, Lucy Bowers & Ella Myer go by bus to Pittsfield where Alex met them, to visit
at Hancock and Mt. Lebanon until Friday.

10 June El Anna went to Albany in Mr. Bournes' car with Jennie Wells & Hattie Coburn (a feeble-
minded girl from the North Family) to have Hattie's tooth pulled and others cleaned.
"Jennie did not care to go alone for fear something might happen. "
Baumes is new foreman at Noeth Family since Disney left.

11 June Eld Anna & Mary auto to Albany so Mary can take bead bag she made to Mrs. Nausbaum
who paid $10 for it. Mrs. N. provided the steelbeads which alone cost $30.
We have sold 300 barrels of potatoes for $500.
"Laddie our dog was given back to James Clark. "Mary thought it bestto get rid of him
before any trouble came to pass, as he seemed inclined to bite, ifdisturbed."

12 June 1 made 12 loaves bread, 8 custard pies.
Eld Anna, Pauline, Eleanor & Susan are making 40 fancy knitting bags forstore. Marion
is I ining 7 dolly afghans. Grace prepared 48 yds of warp for loom in a.m. and wove 3 yds
carpet in p.m.

14 June I made 12 loaves bread, 10 deep lemon pies.
Ella Winship back, so Eld Anna autoed to North Family & brought Maggie home.

15 June Had 40 in all for supper - 12 extra Dahms.
Sun. "Geo. Dahm shot the old torn cat from the school house window - he had killed and eaten
9 littlechickens.

17 June Have 6 hired hands - 3 are drawing sand, 3 hoeing corn.

18 June Mary had 11 turkeys hatch. Freida and girls picked 32 qts strawberries and prepared
them for table. ^

19 June Freida & girls picked 45 qts strawberries, allto be canned. Folks all stemmed the berries
after supper.

21 June I made 12 Ig loaves bread, 7 chocolate pies and 10 loaves raisin cake,

22 June Meeting here. North folks attended & Eld Josiah from Church Family, also Eld Caroline
Sun. & Lucy. I cfd not got.;"Ella Winship spoke of her visit to Canterbury & love sent from there. "
